After more than 15 years of corporate practice, attorney Kenneth A. Mayeaux reassessed what mattered most to him. He left the world of corporate law and travelled to Mexico where he worked to help those in need. He eventually returned to the United States and took up helping people who were being held in a detention center. He then worked with Catholic Charities before beginning to teach immigration at Louisiana State University (LSU). He has since left LSU and returned to devoting himself full time to helping those facing immigration challenges.
